Mashup Camp last week in Mountain View was my third. Two years ago, the technology was pretty new and the buzz was around new business models and monetization. Last year it was about tools. Yahoo! Pipes was relatively new, Popfly was in Beta and there was big conversation around platforms and programming languages. This year, big impressions were made by the next round of tools.
My two personal highlights: the conversation by Zude had the crowd asking tons of questions about how to mash together content from different sites and in different formats where everything is essentially a mashable object. My buddy Rob Ennals had a loyal following around Intel Mash Maker, which is far more mature this year than it was last year.
